Abbey Salvo recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from UMBC with a BFA in computer animation and interactive game design. These interests ultimately sparked a passion for graphic design. At the IRC, Abbey works intently in the areas of social media, web and blog design, 2D animation and motion graphics, and graphic design. Already, she has designed a few websites for IRC related projects (SeeIntuit, IRCFellows) and has also designed and currently maintains several of the blogs associated with the IRC (the IRC website, USDemocrazy, Visualizing Early Washington DC, WhoWeAm) Over the next few years, she hopes to complete a BFA in graphic design, and eventually work towards her masters.

I love the site and look forward to reading the Bio!
