Rachel Kreutzinger is a new UMBC graduate who pursues both 3D animation and traditional art. She has joined the IRC/NASA Goddard partnership as a media specialist, and has spent the majority of her time thus far creating visualizations of the next land-imaging LDCM satellite. Since she did not end up an astronaut, this is certainly the next best thing.
Rachel holds a B.F.A. in Visual Arts with an emphasis in computer animation and was an undergraduate Imaging Research Center Fellow. As an undergrad IRC intern she also contributed to several projects including US Democrazy and Playing Pericles.
She enjoys general geekery and wishes Jurassic Park were real, perhaps sans large carnivores. She still thinks calculus is cool.
